Keep the setup small

You don't need a cart full of supplies to keep feeding notes. A notebook and a pen that works can be enough. If you prefer a phone log, choose one app or page you can find easily.

This is a place for the adults' notes, not a guide to feeding equipment or where to care for a baby. Use your family's safety guidance when choosing where household items belong.

Use what you already reach for

Think about how you actually write things down. If you like paper, use a page with room for the date and times. If you use your phone, keep the care log easy to open rather than adding another notes app.

Swaddlely has a Home Screen guide if you want a direct shortcut on your iPhone. A shortcut can save a search for the website, but it doesn't turn the app into a promise of offline access.

Make it work for your helpers

Show the people helping you where the notes go. Keep the format simple enough that no one needs a long explanation. A start time, an end time if known, and a short note may be all you want.

If someone moves the notebook, agree where it goes back. If you use an app, check that each helper has their own access. Avoid leaving login details on a note card in a shared space.

Try it before buying more

Use the small setup for a day or two. Notice what slows you down. Maybe the pen keeps going missing, or you keep opening the wrong page. Fix that one thing first.

There is no need to buy a special organizer to make the notes count. A setup that your household can use with little effort is more useful than one that looks perfect but gets ignored.

A notebook from home is enough for this setup. If you need one, here is a ruled option to compare. We have not tested this item. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. Moleskine ruled notebook on Amazon

If helpers use their own phones, set up a shared baby tracker and check that everyone can find the same record.

Once the spot is ready, choose a few useful fields from our newborn feeding log guide.
