A shorter way to reach your care log

A Home Screen shortcut gives you a direct way to open Swaddlely without searching for a browser tab. It can be useful when you're holding your baby and want to reach the care log quickly.

This is a shortcut to the website, not a separate App Store app. Adding it doesn't promise offline access or push notifications. You still use your Swaddlely account.

Use the current setup guide

Open Swaddlely's installation guide on your iPhone and follow the steps shown there. Browser menus can change, so that guide is a better place for the current steps than a copied list in an old article.

Check the address before you sign in or add the shortcut. It should be swaddlely.com. If someone sent you a link you're unsure about, type the address yourself instead of entering your password on an unfamiliar page.

Check the shortcut after adding it

Go back to your Home Screen and open the new Swaddlely icon. Make sure it reaches the website you expected. If it asks you to sign in, use your own account rather than another helper's login.

Once you're in, check that you can see your household and the right child. This is a useful check before you need to add a care note in a hurry. You don't need to create a test care entry just to check the shortcut.

Keep one shortcut you recognize

If you've added more than one shortcut, check which one opens the correct site before removing an old one. A shortcut with an old icon can be confusing even if the website itself has changed.

If the new shortcut doesn't work as expected, use the normal website while you ask for help. A Home Screen icon is a convenience, not a requirement for keeping care notes in Swaddlely.

If you are starting a new record, the baby care log guide explains which details can be useful.

Each helper still needs their own access; see how to set up a shared baby tracker.

After adding the shortcut

  • Address is swaddlely.com: ______
  • New icon opens the intended site: ______
  • Signed in to my own account: ______
  • Right household and child visible: ______
  • Old duplicate shortcuts checked: ______
